Manicure and pedicure also home service will cost you only P200.(These are the actual amounts that I paid for haircut, massage, manicure and pedicure plus 10% tip on January, 2007)

MEALS: A typical lunch for two will cost you around P150 to P250 pesos depending on the menu you choose. Dinner for two will be around P350 to P500 in a local restaurant. You will spend much less if you eat at "short-order" or "take-out" eateries. There is a German restaurant in Gasan serving authentic german sausages. The restaurant also serves, seafood, steaks, pork and lamb chops as well as Filipino dishes. In addition, the restaurant also served pizza that tastes as good as if not better than the pizzas in California. Gasan is only about 10 minute drive from the resort but about 30 minutes by jeepney.

TRANSPORTATION:

Jeepneys operate 7 days a week from around 5:00AM to 9:00PM. It   will cost you P20 one way from the resort to either downtown Boac or  Gasan. Air-conditioned cars or vans can be rented for about P2000 to  P2200 a day including the services of a driver.

CLIMATE/WEATHER/MORIONES FESTIVAL
The Philippines has two pronounced seasons, wet and dry.  Here at  the  beach resort we   have three due to the proximity of the beach   house to the ocean. Ocean   breezes modify the season into three  as follows:

From December to February:       Dry and cool
From March to May:                   Dry and Hot
   From June to October:               Wet/Rainy
November Falls between             Wet and Dry

So, the best time to visit us is between December and February
Easter week turns Boac, Marinduque into a big city complete with lot  of tourists, noise  and traffic congestions due to the Moriones  Festival. For detail information on the  Moriones Festival, visit the  website
